Artist Biography: Samurai San is a music project (Aleksandra Selivanova – composer, author of lyrics, singer). The music combines elements of trip hop, folk, soul, country, rock and pop style elements. The project is based on the story of a Lady – samurai, which corresponds to both the stage image and the songs’ lyrics.
Songs of Samurai San are performed in Russian, English, Ukrainian and Japanese. The first song of the project “White Horse” was released in 2016. After the release of the single the debut clip was released too, Aleksandra Selivanova was the director and producer of it. 2017 was marked by participation in music festivals, including Non Stop 24 Open Air (Russia, St. Petersburg) and Street Music by Alfa Jazz festival (Ukraine, Lviv), and also Samurai San songs have appeared on FM and Internet radio stations on the air.
