Artist Biography: TFV is an italian punk rock/melodic hardcore band, from Reggio Emilia. It’s inspired by the music of American punk bands like NOFX, Pennywise and Descendents.
Their ironic lyrics generally deal with issues about the society, the family and about the teenage life of young people.
The birth of the band is in 2008 by the guitarist Dany and his brother Luke, the bassist; together with their friends Alex, the singer, and Gara, the drummer, they decided to form a band. After writing several songs, they choose the definitive name of the band: TFV.
Between 2008 and 2009 they recorded two demos: “Can You Save Me?” and “Sc-Emo” also takin’ part in two compilations: “The Explosion of Punk vol. 2” (Italy) and Punk Kills vol. 2 (Los Angeles, CA).
Playin’ around the locals, events and festivals they begin to be more known.
In early 2010 Alex left the band for personal reasons but the guys decide to continue to play together.
The TFV has shared the stage with: H2O (USA) THE BOSS Martians (SEATTLE), TERRI BOMB (LOS ANGELES, CA), ONE TRAX MINDS (ROME), BOURNING HEADS (FRANCE), THE REBEL assholes (FRANCE), STREANG FEAR, THANX FOR ALL THE SHOES, DULL,RAW POWER,PAOLINO PAERINO BAND, DOGS and others. In September 2011 they released their first debut album “DISCIPLINE ZERO” produced by d REC Studio and Samoan Records, also advertised in the magazine BYE BYE BRAIN.
