Artist Biography: The Morning Is for Sleeping formed in May, 2011, gathering musicians from different bands who had been up and doing for several years in the musical survey of Latina and surroundings. After an initial period of setting in, during which they also passed through some tough moments, the band finally finds its own way, paradoxically an amount of the different previous musical experiences of each member of the group.
\nPunk sounds and melodies find their natural fulfillment in metal\u2019s speeds and variations and, in addiction, a clean, clear, pop voice makes its way.
\nThe result of this genre-mixing is The Morning Is for Sleeping\u2019s first music: under the cover of an ironic moniker we find a melodic post-hardcore\/punk sound where cruelty meets melody, not leaving out inspiration and fantasy but always with an eye to metalcore.
\nIn May, 2012 Marco, Alessio, Ilian, Jacopo e Marco started the recording of their first homonymous EP. Seven tracks that tell us the band\u2019s exponential growth and describe The Morning Is for Sleeping project at their best.
\nThe Morning Is For Sleeping\u2019s EP was recorded analogically in Kick Recording Studio (guitars and bass) and in Matteo Gabbianelli\u2019s Kutso Noise Home (drums, voice and mastering). It was released on
\nNovember 10, 2012 on the band\u2019s website, reaching over 1.000 downloads thanks to self-promo activities.
\nAfter a short Russian tour in March 2014, the band signed to This Is Core Records (Italy) which allowed them to republish the first EP with the addition of a new single, Halfway Home.
\nSo the band began writing new material, like Graves Of Despise, a new single released in 2015 with a DIY video.
\nIn 2016, after hard personal heels and a line up change, the band began recording the first full length album with Marco Mastrobuono (Hour Of Penance) at Kick Recording Studio.
\nIn Truth And Lies came out in the music stores and streaming platforms on May 19, 2017, always for This Is Core Records, revealed by the single “Hollywood”. <\/p>\n
