I Am The Law
I Am The Law is a southern metal band from Nashville Tennessee and was founded in 2015 around the idea of creating a band centered around an infectious southern heavy groove. Drawing upon influences such as Pantera, Down, Every Time I Die, Maylene and The Sons of Disaster, and The Showdown, I Am The law has managed to craft its own iteration of the Southern Metal sound.
After a few years of songwriting and refining the member line up, I Am The Law Released its debut EP ‘The Black Water Gospel’ on May 20, 2016. Recorded at Junecrow Media Studios, the six track album encapsulates the raw aggression and sound of the band. The band went on to be nominated for the 2016 NIMA Awards for Best Hard Rock/Metal Band. I Am The Law has also opened up for more well known and established acts such as Superjoint, Crowbar and Doyle.
