New Age Affair
New Age Affair was formed February of 2017 by brothers Derek and Gage Flick. Drake Tucker joined the band late Feburary as Lead Guitarist and the trio quickly began work on a Debut Single ‘Reset’. with the release of ‘Reset’ came the joining of member Taylor Anderson on Bass guitar. Shortly After Anderson Joined, Tucker left the band due to creative differences.
In need of a fourth member, Flick brothers and Anderson began searching. July of 2017 Jacob Branning joined the band as the new Lead Guitarist. With a fourth member the band quickly began work on their debut E.P. ‘Sold Out’. Working with longtime friend of Derek Flick, Weldon Smith at CommonPlace Recordings, the group released its second single ‘Slip Away’ in August of 2017.
Starting to gain a local and worldwide following with their two singles, the band decided to release a third single ‘For You’ an acoustic love song, October of 2017. In just over one week the acoustic third single from the band had blown up into over 28k views, and their following grew even larger.
March 10, 2018 the band released its Debut E.P. ‘Sold Out’. In late 2018 New Age Affair recorded a maxi-Single with multi-platinum producer Marc McClusky. Early 2019 member Taylor Anderson left the band due to creative and personal reasons, in his place long time friend of Derek, Ryder VaLoh joined the band as there new bassist. They are currently working on a debut album.
In a little over 2 years New Age Affair has reached a worldwide following of over 30k fans, are ranked #1 regionally via ReverbNation, have played 50+ shows and they have no plans on slowing down.
