Red Light Runner – “Be Mine Again” Engineer Records

Red Light Runner

Kent-based Red Light Runner is a four-piece indie rock collective with influences ranging from Elliott and Penfold to Saves the Day and The Get Up Kids.

The early days saw the band relentlessly play shows, having the honour of sharing the stage with bands such as Last Days of April, produce numerous demos and a five track self-titled EP until a hiatus in 2008.

Now the band is back with a style that’s been compared to Mineral, Jimmy Eat World, The Promise Ring and The Gaslight Anthem, and they have plenty of lost time to make up for. A selection of new material, peppered with re-workings of former songs from the previous EP make for a passionate and engaging live show which confirms how much the band have evolved since their original incarnation.

Those who head out to catch a show in the coming months will get a preview of what’s to come, and that’s something that excites the band as much as anyone.

Come and join the adventure.
