Starting out with the intention of sounding like cocaine on cocaine, The Friday Prophets formed in 2010 in their native city of Umeå, Sweden. Drawing inspiration from everything from the Ramones to Accidente to the Bouncing Souls the band has successfully matched the fast and gritty side of punk rock with the more canorous part of the genre. This is demonstrated on the bands latest album ‘In the Key of Sublimation’ which was released via their own music label Holy Howl Records. Today the band is located in Stockholm and has since their start shared stages with bands like No Fun at All, Teenage Bottlerocket, Twin Pigs, MakeWar and Svart Katt.
