Abraskadabra – “The Dream” Official Music Video

Artist city, country: Curitiba, Brazil

Artist Biography: Arising in mid-2003, Abraskadabra is a seven-piece band from Curitiba, Brazil. The influences are diverse, incorporating sounds from melodic hardcore and third wave ska, they make it clear from the first moment their tastes for melodies: evident in their vocal trios and horn section.
Abraskadabra has created a solid fan base and have played all around Brazil. In the U.S., their first tour happened recently. This tour stretched from coast to coast, passing through thirteen states and twenty-one cities shortly after releasing a version of “Not Your Savior” (No Use for a Name’s song), which ended up in a documentary about the legendary American label, Fat Wreck Chords.
During these years, Abraskadabra have been always standing ground into relevant concerts, sharing the stage with all these great bands: Bad Religion, Rise Against, Flogging Molly, Fishbone, Streetlight Manifesto, Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Pauline Black (The Selecters), Goldfinger, The Toasters, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Satanic Surfers, are some to name.
It isn’t just the 15-years on the road that settle the power and unity of Abraskadabra, but also the energy and passion they put into the music they create, being friends first and putting together one of the most solid and interesting Brazilian band nowadays.”

Song Lyrics: “The Dream”

When you try to escape but you go into the wrong door And the world as you know seems so far to see Then you stumble to many blocks and safari dreams, with all these creeps I wonder if it feast me! When you drag yourself alone in the stairway down Feel a little dizzy cause the air is worn out Now open up your eyes and see the heaven Or if you look it up you may as well be in hell What the hell? I’m on a solo dream, but it seems so far from me Take just one step closer To another point of view Crystal clear just like you knew Cut those chains to follow through To that plain point of view It’s like I never dance, but here I am killing the dance floor And the blood is coming up right at my knees Take me away to the bottom of the coldest sea Always wanted to fight creatures down here Oh wait, I’m out without OC I wonder if it kills me! Walking down a little place that reminds me of home But all these little men starring me it’s so cold. Cold! I wonder if I’m dreaming in heaven Cause suddenly I woke up like a stone-cold 1-2-3 come on! I’m feeling strange here All these things are so damn new Meeting different planets. Oh! It’s like I’m on the line of mental illness like I tried Woke up from these cold inside And take control That’s just a dream I had Nothing you should compliment Take non for example and Let it die ‘til we die
