Artist Biography: Damaj are a 4 piece Heavy Metal band hailing from Greenock, Scotland and formed in 2013. The band spent the next two years building a strong following in Scotland, taking the time to build a solid reputation for their live performance and professionalism.
In May 2015, Damaj spread their wings to the wider world and were awarded several coveted gig slots, including headlining their first open air festival, the annual Feria Del Disco of Valladolid, Spain. As 2015 continued the band found themselves supporting the likes of Nervosa, One Machine, Reign of Fury and Tygers of Pan Tang.
In late 2015 Damaj underwent a line up change by bringing in Scott Macleod on Drums, to give the band more drive and a more rounded and explosive sound.
2016 saw continued success, supporting acts such as ex-Iron Maiden front man, Blaze Bayley, sharing the stage with Reign of Fury once more, as well as embarking on their own headline shows across Scotland resulting in great critical acclaim.
2016 rounds itself out with the the band’s long-awaited debut release: The Wrath of The Tide EP
