Artist Biography: Shadows of Allowance is a 4-piece rock band from Hawley, Pennsylvania. The band was formed in 2013 by lead vocalist Connor Nelson. Their goal is to make music with a deeper meaning that people can mosh and party to.
About The Video: Their Song “Heroin” featuring Dylan Baker, is about a man who felt like he was worthless and became depressed. He used heroin as his outlet, which killed him. It talks about his regrets of it and tries to warn people that heroin does kill.
The band decided to write this song because while they were writing their debut album ‘Failures and Flatlines’, each writing session they would here about how somebody had overdosed on heroin. There is a huge heroin epidemic in their area and wrote this song in hopes that people would realize that heroin can destroy lives.
