Alastoria
Alastoria take influence from the likes of Architects, Fit for a King and While She Sleeps, to bands such as Upon a Burning Body, Wage War and Parkway Drive.
Alastoria are a 5-piece metalcore band from Lowestoft / Norwich, UK. Since forming in Late 2013 / Early 2014 – Alastoria have taken the local scene by storm and quickly made a name for themselves. Alastoria released their first single ‘The Rapture’ on March the 6th 2014; this quickly gained local attention and received positive feedback / reviews. Alastoria then proceeded to play countless shows around East Anglia, and have played with many acclaimed bands such as In Hearts Wake, Gideon, Our Hollow Our Home, Silent Screams, and Create To Inspire, plus many more! Alastoria’s debut EP ‘Dethroned’ was released on the 2nd of October 2015 – This gained positives reviews and has had tracks taken from it to be aired on BBC introducing Suffolk and BBC Introducing Norfolk 3 times in less than a month of it being released. In 2017, Alastoria announced that they were going on a headline UK Tour. The 2017 UK TOUR was met with positive acclaim and was a huge success with almost every date sold out. Alastoria finished their tour with a packed out hometown show at the Owl Sanctuary in Norwich which reached full capacity. Alastoria are currently gigging across the UK and preparing for the release of their highly anticipated 2nd EP – which is scheduled for summer 2018. “One of the best Metalcore releases of the year, with some incredible melodies that will make you shiver, alongside growls and grunts that get will get you pumped up for sure.” – Musicology Online, regarding ‘Dethroned’.
