Anahata
Formed in 2014, Anahata released their debut single “A Maze”, leading to the release of their EP ‘Balance’.
The band had played in Gramercy Theatre for its Golden Hearts Festival by Crossheart Collective in the summer of 2017. Following Gramercy in 2018 after the departure of vocalist Jonathan Ortiz, the band delegated lead vocals to guitarist Chris Leyba, now on strictly vocals, the band performed with Lorna Shore for their recent tour. The group have also shared the stage with New Years Day, DSME, Capsize, and have performed with many local NY acts such as Shallow Views, Jynx, In Loving Memory, and The Hearkening.
The band is now currently performing and writing new material.
