Dunes
DUNES were invented in the warmer periods of 2016 by several earth dwellers poorly masquerading as human beings in the city of Newcastle. They play dessert-riff-blues-tinted-disco-tinged-rock, which draws on influences such as Queens of the Stone Age, Clutch, Death From Above 1979 and Torche.
DUNES second EP is due for release 23rd of February 2018 and was recorded during November 2017 and their second EP was released 1st of March 2018. Both were recorded at The Sand Castle in Newcastle with Graham Thompson, who has previously worked with Frankie and the Heartstrings, Jimmy Floyd Hasslebaind, Kubicheck and Jinn. They have received airplay on numerous radio stations around the UK and have featured on BBC Introducing Newcastle.
