Artist Biography: Dandy dancing for some, philosopher singing for others, ambassador of an afro-groove on the borders of funk and rock, Bantunani distilled for nearly ten years a humanistic and dance music carried by a singular voice. The man, has made a name both on stage with frenzied performances and his studied studios productions where abound the styles.
Behind this dancing dandy hides an animal, a beast of scene agitated by primitive instincts and in search of transcendental truths. Surrounded by his musicians, the group again becomes a tribe armed with instruments where shouts of war, riffs and drums revive an infernal shake. His music invokes beyond, we must dance and celebrate the breath of life. Bantunani does not like borders, travels through styles and eras, only groove imports under his pen.
His texts … a story drawn from his life, that of an afro-music lover …. The crossbreeding of cultures, ideas to reach a deep and frank truth.
Bantunani is a musician, author, creative composer, with incredible imagination under the force of his feathers.
His most conscious groove is an infernal dance machine where the Bantu spirits carried by the genius of his musicians transport you to distant and bewitching paradises. Music or death he proclaims from time to time
