Artist Biography: La band nasce nel gennaio 2013 dall’unione musicale di tre amici: i due fratelli Francesco e Filippo Ridi entrambi chitarristi e Federico Pavia cantante e chitarrista; il progetto prende una nuova piega quando si aggiungono al gruppo prima il batterista Alessandro Giannelli e successivamente il bassista Andrea Mazzei.
Viene scelto inizialmente il nome: “Hope”, nome che viene cambiato definitivamente in “Came from Neverland” quando la band decide di incidere il loro primo brano inedito dal titolo “I Wanna Be a Brave” presso gli studi della Maya Records.
La band nonostante la giovane età, in un solo anno di attività si è esibita in una decina di concerti sia sull’isola che sul continente.
Il brano “I Wanna Be a Brave” si posiziona per due giorni alla posizione 24 della Top100 Pop di Amazon
Il brano viene selezionato ed inserito nella compilation estiva 2014 di Meet’n’Radio come 22esima traccia dell’album!
In soli 2 mesi dall’uscita il singolo viene inserito in rotazione su oltre 100 radio nazionali ed estere
La band viene inserita nell’officina del talento di All Music Italia come band emergente di grande talento.
Il 2015 inizia con grandi novità per la band, il bassista Andrea Mazzei passa alla batteria, questo cambiamento sancisce la formazione ufficiale della band.
Inoltre esce su tutti i maggiori stores online il primo mini EP della band intitolato “Metà Più Uno” e anche il videoclip ufficiale del brano realizzato da Matteo Morgantini, in arte Onizuka (youtuber di Melagoodo).
Nel 2015 la band diventa partner ufficiale ed esclusivo per la musica dal vivo del gruppo teatrale “Le Perle dell’arcipelago” e con loro iniziano diversi tour estivi e invernali che porta la band oltre che a suonare in tantissimi teatri sparsi in tutta l’isola (compresi due concerti dentro il carcere di Porto Azzurro), alla bellissima esperienza di essere ricevuti da Papa Francesco all’udienza di maggio 2015.
Nel 2016 ci sono diversi cambiamenti nella band, Filippo Ridi passa alla voce, mentre Gianfranco Natter diventa il nuovo bassista della band e Marco Bastianelli subentra alle tastiere e ai Synth.
A settembre 2016 nell’ultima data del tour estivo al fianco delle “Perle dell’Arcipelago” la band presenta live il nuovo singolo dal titolo “If you’re the anchor, I’ll never sink” in uscita a brave su tutti gli stores online.
