Artist Biography: Society’s Ills are a punk rock band from Montreal, Quebec. Skid Marc, The Naj and Danarky (bass, vocals and guitar) met in high school in Ottawa in the 90’s through a shared love of punk rock. They picked up their instruments in 2006 as an excuse to drink beer and play Misfits covers but over time, after the addition of Brent Over (drums) who worked at the same bar as Skid Marc, they managed to independently release a 15 song demo, a 6 song EP, a self-titled debut studio album which peaked at number 5 in January 2012 on the Earshot Loud charts, a very well received sophomore album ‘Adversity’ and in 2017, their proudest achievement to date; ‘Stumble’.

About The Video: The video depicts the morning after a rowdy house party – far from portraying a party atmosphere though the video was shot with a dark visual theme to reflect the somber mood of the song ‘The Floor’. Fellow Montreal punk rockers and good friends Guttrot make cameo appearances.
