Artist Biography: The Carolyn started as a solo project in the summer of 2016, but quickly evolved into a three piece punk band in the fall. Often comparisons are made to The Lawrence Arms, Gaslight Anthem, and The Menzingers.

Shortly after signing to Atlanta indie, 59 X Records, The Carolyn put out its debut EP “Keepsake.” The band has just released a video for “Novocaine” off of the EP, and is playing in support of Captain We’re Sinking on their Atlanta tour date July 15th.

About the Video: Our friends in the Atlanta-based indie film group, Moon 86, approached us about doing a video this spring. We chose the song “Novocaine” and I think directors Nick Hess and Maggie Foster did a great job of capturing the different aspects of life for twenty-something’s living in a rural town.
