Artist Biography: Formed by multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Justin Chamberlain in 2017, The Very Reverend’s sound is a narcotic noir dressed in layers of weaving fuzz guitar, synth and bass, with nods to B-movie horror soundtracks and glampunk, doom-disco drum grooves. As a vocalist, Chamberlain writes pop hooks and honest lyrics, delivered in a smooth, falsetto-heavy snarl. The band has built a loyal following through constant touring behind their critically acclaimed debut EP, ‘Gold to a Thief’. The newest single, “Give Up the Ghost” signals a slight departure from their debut as the band heads into the studio to record their next effort.
