Artist Biography: Centauro es una banda de Thrash metal originaria de Culiacán, Sinaloa, México.
El nombre de la banda está inspirado en el héroe revolucionario Francisco Villa, apodado con orgullo “El Centauro del Norte”.
Fue formada en diciembre del 2009 por Erick Monzón (voz y bajo), Mario Rivera (batería), Fernando Rivera (guitarra) y Omar Rodríguez (guitarra), influenciados por el sonido de la vieja escuela del Thrash metal y el Crossover como sodom, slayer, metallica, kreator, D.R.I, pero también tomando raíces del movimiento surgido a principios de la primer década del nuevo milenio, denominado “Thrash Revival” con bandas como Municipal Waste, Gama Bomb, Warbringer y Evile.
