This Is Turin is a musical collective taking influence from a diverse range of extreme music sub genres. Their form is constantly shifting, unpredictable, from ambient soundscapes to the brink of near sonic collapse.
Credited for their intense and visceral live performances, This Is Turin are unique in their non-conformist approach to ‘scenes’ there have become a clear divide between the listener and the artist. Turin believes there are no lines, boundaries or subject matter than cannot be experienced.
This Is Turin have appeared at some of the UK’s top festivals, such as Bloodstock Open Air and United Kingdom Tech Metal Festival. Their reputation live has seen them play alongside the likes of Gojira, Slayer, Heart of a Coward, Soulfly, sikTh and Rolo Tomassi.
