Artist Biography: PARIADELUX is an Alternative Rock trio, born in 2014 on the ashes of the band Elektric who published one album: “Breaking the Spell”. Then, Florian Herpe (vocals/guitar) and Lolly C. (bass/vocals) performed during a time in duo like The Kills, before being joined by Bruno Gadiot on drums.
Pariadelux released its first album “Topsy-Turvy” on the label M&O Music in 2018. Its title translates all the ambivalence shadow/light that we find from the start in the name of the band. Pariadelux continues its initiatory quest between chaos and rebirth, through titles that bathe the listener in a grungy-stoner distortion, through powerful heavy rock compositions that never deny emotion. The production is by Francis Caste, responsible for the sound of Bukowsky, Hangman’s chair, Seven Weeks…
About the lyrics, the album invites to introspection, to explore the darkness of the psyche towards the light of consciousness; as evoked by its visual of the octopus queen of the depths and the snake capable of moulting. The subjects of the lyrics: self-destruction (Fuhrer on my Shoulder), to reborn from the ashes (Is This Love), to change the coal into diamond (Diamonds), to expand our consciousness (On Fire), to seek enlightenment (In The Rodeo).
